Folk Redlands is a folk club with heaps of supporting
friends and artists. It is a club aimed at the whole
family starting in the afternoon with a blackboard session
at 2:00 and then at around 4:00 the headline act comes
on. Situated in the beautiful environment of The Redlands
Indigiscapes Centre, it is a perfect spot for an afternoon
of music, fine food and BYO “medicine”. Music is on the first and third Sundays of the month.

Pirate Brides is a 4-piece “acoustic originals,
contemporary folk, bluegrass and old-time band with guitar,
accordion,clawhammer banjo, mandolin and double bass.The
members have superb 4-part harmonies in their vocals
and can get the audience nicely revved up with their
great songs! John, Rose, Markus and Ryk are all excellent
musicians and always very enjoyable to listen to.

Mark is a Brisbane singer/songwriter who writes and sings, plays guitar, mandolin, bass and in his own words – “tries to be good”! If you are talking about trying to be good at music, Mark, you’ve nailed it for sure! Mark is a fantastic songwriter and overall a great musician. He has received some fabulous reviews about many of his songs - Noel Mengel of Brisbane’s Courier Mail once said that Mark was one of the best songwriters in Australia. Yup, I agree!

group consisting of 4 lovely ladies who all have a
passion for music. The group hails from New Brunswick
in Eastern Canada and together the girls have released
some great CDs – very beautiful music with excellent

covers, jazz and country, so keep an eye on their site!
